Jean Franco Pilas was born and raised in the Philippines by two loving lesbian parents, one of which was his mother's biological younger sister. He is proud to be part of a culture where people are not afraid to work hard to achieve their dreams. His drive and motivation were inherited from his mother's dertermination, and a history of Filipinos whose parents desire their children to be future lawyers, doctors and nurses. Jean decided to go in the complete opposite direction -- he is an artist, a dreamer and a hopeful romantic.
